Hey GEMS,
Being a part of the choir we often get to introduce a new song or sing a song that isn't new to all of us. One of my friends sent an email to our choir director and said he remembered the song "Overcome" when we sang it in church. It had been sung in a church service he attended in Brazil. Below is the link to the song with the Portuguese translation. Of course, I really enjoy it and had heard it being sung in Portuguese in a church service.
Listen to the words and close your eyes and let the music bring you before the Throne of God!

Patriotism and our love for God and Country..
Hey GEMS,
I received this yesterday and thought it was worth sharing. I had to get a tissue half way through, but thought it was a great rendition of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic". Take a listen and see what you think! Let me know your thoughts and what you were thinking as you watched and listened.
