Tuesday, April 24th - Titus 2:11-14

Good Morning!

It was a little misty when I got up to take the puppy outside this morning, but it is suppose to be a warmer day.  Spring is definitely in the air!  I saw some baby goslings yesterday and I saw a very large mama cat this morning that will soon have kittens to tend to somewhere near.  :o)
Spring - when things are new and fresh!  The dullness of winter fades away and is replaced with bursts of color and fresh smells and new life!  Spring house cleaning begins and everything is made to sparkle and shine.

Lisa's tweet: LMRMinistries: Titus 2:11-14 ~ Take a look here at what Jesus did for you - how He knew that you were wicked, but He loved you enough to forgive you.

Take a look at this passage.  "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.  It teaches us to say "NO" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good."

Jesus gave Himself for us! He took our sins and brought forgiveness!  We have been redeemed and purified for Him and through Him so that we can do what is good.  We are HIS!!!

You could look at this as the ultimate Spring - from the darkness of sin and shame to NEW life that shines for Him!  We also have to so some Spring Cleaning from time to time and make sure we are forgiving and spending time with Him each day and beginning to shine brighter each day with His love!

Have you done your Spring cleaning?

Monday, April 23rd - Luke 6:37-38

Good Morning!

What a beautiful sunrise!  It is going to be a great day!

Lisa's tweet: LMRMinistries: Luke 6:37-38 ~ The way we judge others is a measure of how God can judge us.  Live like the redeemed person you are!  Choose forgiveness.

I don't know about you, but there are times I find myself judging another person and I don't even think about it.  I will catch myself and ask, "Why did you do that?"  I really don't have an answer for that question as I know what is right.  I ask forgiveness and try and do better.
It is really hard sometimes to forgive, especially when you know it is a one way street.  I have done that and the only way I have been able to accomplish that task is with the help and strength that God gave through His Son and Holy Spirit.  On my own, it would have not been accomplished.

Look in the mirror today and say:  I am redeemed!  I am a child of the King and the God Most High!  He is walking with me and will always be there!  I am redeemed and I am His and He is mine!  Hallelujah!

Have a great day!

Friday, April 20th - Mark 11:22-26

Happy Friday Everyone!

Do you have big plans for the weekend?  Mine will be busy!  Lots going on in my household right now.  Whatever you do, remember to shine for Him!

Lisa's tweet: LMRMinistries:  Mark 11:22-26 ~ Jesus is talking about having faith (in vs. 22-24).  Notice what He says about how our attitude should be when we pray!

Have you ever heard the phrase:  "Faith can move mountains!"?  This is the passage it comes from - verse 23.  This whole passage ties faith and forgiveness together.  We have to have faith and believe when we pray, but we also need to come to Him with a clean heart.  If we a holding a grudge or haven't forgiven someone, we need to forgive them and move on.  There is something to be said about forgive and forget.  However, it isn't always easy, but you feel so much better when you have forgiven!  As we forgive, God forgives.

Have a great Friday!

Thursday, April 19th - Matthew 18:21-35

Good Morning!

It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day!  I hope each of you has a great day!

Lisa's tweet: LMRMinistries: Matthew 18:21-35 ~ The wicked/ungrateful servant.  God has forgiven all your sins against Him.  He expects you to forgive those who sin against you.

There are times I sit and think about God's forgiveness and how He has forgiven and forgotten.  It is tough to do the same sometimes!  Especially when it is something big or very serious against you or a family member or a friend.  It IS hard, but not impossible and He gives us everything we need to make it happen.  He showed us how and also helps us forgive.  Lean on Him!

Have a fantastic day!

Sunday, April 15th - Acts 4:32-37

Hey!  What a great day it has been!  Church services were great, fellowship was fantastic, serving in the nursery was stupendous and family time was fabulous!  How was your day?

Actually, I did get some sad news today that a very close family friend went HOME this morning!  He is having the time of his life as he experiences his first day in heaven, but we are and will miss him until we too go Home!

Lisa's tweet: LMRMinistries: Acts 4:32-37 ~ As you understand God's grace given to you, you need to show it to others by the way you treat them & take care of their needs.

God gives His grace freely and accepts us just as we are - we need to do the same.  It is hard sometimes, but it can be done.  We have to look at others through the eyes of God and see them as He sees them - lost and in need of a Savior and a Father!  Care for them and meet their needs and show God's grace!

Monday, April 16th - 1 Timothy 1:12-17

Good Morning!

It looks like it is going to be a nice windy day here in Illinois.  Back to our work week and to school.  Don't forget to shine wherever you might be!  :o)

Lisa's tweet: LMRMinistries: 1 Timothy 1:12-17 ~ Nothing you've done in your past is big enough to separate you from God's grace.  Let go of your past - God has by His grace.

God accepts us just as we are!  We don't have to be perfect or try to clean up our past or anything like that because God's grace covers us and He gives it to us freely.  We have to let go of our past and look to the future with God!  He is waiting with open arms!

Have a great day!
