Excited! Energetic! Overjoyed! Enthusiastic! Happy! Changed! ~ Just a few words to describe the Samaritan woman that Jesus forgave. She immediately went and told others and shared the Good News! She was a missionary!
Jesus stayed and taught among the Samaritans for two days and many more believed and were forgiven. I love the last part of verse 42: "... and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world." They got it! They knew who Jesus was and they shared the news.
How did you feel when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and received His forgiveness? Did you run out and tell everyone you met? Have you shared the Good News with others? That is what we are called to do for God - share the Good News! It's not to late - share your story!
This reminds me of a song that has been around forever and has been re-made and re-recorded by many: "This Little Light of Mine". Do you remember the first few lines? "This little light of mine - I'm gonna let it shine. Let it shine - Let it shine - Let it shine!" Will you let your light shine for Him today?
